An experience of ripeness for those who are ready! The first step towards a global ecology is an ecology of the mind. Kenneth Mills opens the vista of a radically transformed perspective: a New Land “beyond the gravitational fields of suggestion.”
The first four chapters of the The New Land! (“Preface,” “Focus,” “Structure,” and “Combustion”) unfolded one summer in a little cottage on the banks of the St. Croix River in New Brunswick. During the following autumn, in the midst of packing to move to a new house, among the boxes and the buzz of activity, Dr. Mills paused and offered the final chapter in the form of a poem: “A Song of Invention.”
“Are you ready to be steady, responsible, reliable and responsive to the mandates of the Creative Power dwelling behind the light in that Room that is set aside for those who would come onto that Path called the Quest of a living God-Self Experience?” – The New Land!, p. 37
