Kenneth Mills sits before an array of four electronic keyboards, MIDI controllers, his hands refined by countless hours in the earlier years of his  life playing the masterworks of the classical piano repertoire.

The music that comes forth “happens” in real time with no overdubs — a single performance with each of the keyboards set up for different sounds. He flies over the machinery, indeed seems to float above it as he imparts a richness of feeling and naturalness to simultaneously composing and performing the new work!
