What is a poem?

A poem is prose dressed up for a ball!

What is a poem?

A poem is the rhythmic garment that language wears when freed from that which would give in prose what the rhythm of poetry embraces as a rose.”

~ Kenneth G. Mills

Join us at the Gathering Place this Sunday, February 20, at 11:00 a.m. ET, to discover and explore the poetry and music of Dr. Kenneth G. Mills.

We will hear spontaneous poems as they were originally given by Dr. Mills, such as “Where Have You Been, You Word of Glory?,” “How Can We to Spend Our Moments Together?,” and “The Word Is Always Thunderous.” Many have been set to music, and performed by the Star-Scape Singers under the direction of Maestro Mills. Speakers will also be offering newly discovered poems by Dr. Mills.

Our gathering will open promptly at 11:00 a.m. and run until approximately 12:30 p.m.

There is no charge for the event. Just send an email to [email protected] to register and receive the Zoom link.
