“The value of art is to stop your thought; thus, the great enjoyment is derived from being totally one
with the creative act. What is important is to have art without the ‘-tist,’ or art with the patina of wonder.
Art is living stopped for a moment of wonder.” (Kenneth G. Mills)
The art of Dr. Kenneth G. Mills and nine artists inspired by him will be shown – and be available for purchase –
on ONE DAY ONLY, Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the Jalna Room of the Briars Resort, 55 Hedge Road,
Jackson’s Point, Ontario, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Kenneth Mills’s skillful, innovative use of acrylics in landscapes and florals has drawn many admirers,
including artist Timothy Phillips, who was a student of Salvador Dalí. He said: “Dr. Mills’s paintings
are full of metaphysical hints, hidden there the way Dali hides things. I love his paintings!”
Artists who have been inspired by Dr. Mills’s philosophical approach include Lee Bowser, Ann Marie Gonda,
Evangeline Leach, Jennifer Murphy, Dianne Olchowy, Blair Randle, Glen Sawich, and Terry Stevens.
