“The lily has no thought other than to bear its petals to attract your attention so you can die in its fragrance. That is the whole point of  fragrance. It is to allow the invisible to escape and verify its presence. Remember, you cannot have a fragrance without realizing something has yielded wonder. That’s the value of the lilies of the field. “They toil not, neither do they spin”.
